Key Findings for August 2020
August 2020 looks like a month of “secure the basics, then breathe.” Health leads with 45.4% of tests, with Family close behind at 40.9% and Trust at 38.3%. Together, the top three show a strong pull toward resilience and reliable relationships, while the rest of the top 10 clusters around emotional calm and stability rather than status or adventure.
The biggest climbers are the social glue and safety net values: Security jumps 12 positions (25.2% of tests) and Respect rises 11 positions (30.2%), suggesting people were craving predictability and decency. Peace (+7, 30.7%) and Freedom (+8, 28.3%) rising together is a fun tension: “leave me alone, but also let’s keep it harmonious.” Even Pleasure (+6, 32.0%) and Love (+5, 30.9%) gained ground, hinting at comfort-seeking rather than pure escapism.
Seasonally, late-summer vibes may amplify Pleasure and Freedom, but the dominance of Health, Financial stability (31.0%), and Security points to a period where uncertainty made practical priorities feel extra urgent.
